Jake is a Principal, Senior Highway Engineer and the Manager of the Highway Department at VAI, with over fifteen years of experience in preparing and managing highway engineering design and permitting basic and complex engineering projects. He is a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the States of Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.  Jake has demonstrated experienced working with municipalities and the Departments of Transportation in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, leading engineers and project stakeholders from project initiation and development, through final design, bidding, and construction. As Manager of VAI’s Highway Design Department, Jake is responsible for overseeing project delivery, client and stakeholder relations, team performance, project development, QA/QC, construction oversight and department operations.
