Tom is an Associate and Senior Project Manager at VAI, with over thirty years of experience in the transportation and construction industry, including various management and oversight positions with MassDOT, which offers our clients a unique understanding of the MassDOT process and procedures, as well as FHWA design standards and permitting requirements. He is a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Massachusetts, and has significant experience managing a wide range of projects, including municipal streetscape and roadway reconstruction projects; roadway resurfacing (3R) projects; traffic signal installation and reconstruction projects; pedestrian and bicycle facilities; economic development infrastructure projects; and bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects. Tom also has experience in preparing applications for MassWorks and HousingWorks state grant initiative programs, as well as programming requirements for the State Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).
